As
early as 1948, Juffali began to form close
business associations with a number of major
international corporations. As the
infrastructure of the Kingdom grew, Juffali
moved to local manufacturing in businesses
as diverse as automobile manufacturing and
refrigeration, as well as chemicals.
Today, the Juffali list of
partners reads like a “Who’s Who” of
multinational corporations and includes IBM,
Siemens, Ericsson, Mercedes-Benz, Michelin,
Massey-Ferguson, Electrolux, Kelvinator,
Carrier, Dow Chemicals, DuPont and Butler,
to name but a few. Mutual loyalty and
commitment have allowed these partnerships
to endure for decades. Juffali’s
manufacturing base was originally geared
towards the local market but in recent years
that focus has expanded to include export
markets in the region.
“Progress through diversity”
has been the group’s motto and Juffali led
the way in developing the service aspect of
industry and trade in Saudi Arabia. Its many
divisions can now offer total solutions, as
well as ongoing support to clients. Its long
established trading base has evolved into an
excellent distribution system, which is
imperative in Saudi Arabia, with its distant
conurbation, as well as its difficult
terrain and climate.
Joint ventures and agency
agreements with IBM have placed Juffali
as the Kingdom’s leader in the computing
field. Its agreements with Siemens and
Ericsson, which focus on products, as
well as the technological aspect of
telecommunications, ensure that Juffali
is well placed to benefit from the
enormous growth in this sector.
Juffali’s long and
successful track record in trading and
as an industrial giant, places the group
in an ideal position to continue
contributing to new
developments in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
